India Extends International Commercial Air Travel Ban Till July, 31

India’s aviation regulator Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) yesterday announced that International air travel to and from India will remain suspended till July 31. The circular released by DGCA stated, ‘In partial modification of circular dated 26-06-2020, the competent authority has extended the validity of circular issued regarding Scheduled International commercial passenger services to & from India till 2359 hrs IST of 31st July 2020. This restriction shall not apply to international all-cargo operations and flights specifically approved by DGCA.’

India Extends International Commercial Air Travel Ban Till July, 31

Just last week DGCA had announced that international Air Ticket travel will remain suspended till July 15 and yesterday the DGCA extended this till the end of July. An official in DGCA on the condition of anonymity said, ‘This decision has been taken after assessing the COVID situation in the country. Now the cases have started rising by almost 20,000 per day and it doesn’t look like the situation will improve till July 31.’ Anticipating a further rise in cases of coronavirus the Ministry of Civil Aviation has taken this decision.

However, this circular also mentions, ‘International Scheduled flights may be allowed on selected routes by the competent authority on case to case basis.’ This refers to finalizing air bubbles or air bridges with some countries. A senior official in Ministry of Civil Aviation told Times Now, ‘negotiations are underway with a few countries but nothing has been finalised yet.’ Indian Govt has received requests from concerned authorities in several countries including the US, France, Germany among others asking if they can be allowed to participate in the transportation of passengers along the line being conducted by Air India under Vande Bharat Mission.

As per the information provided by Civil Aviation Minister, Hardeep Puri India began Vande Bharat Mission to bring back around 190K stranded citizens but since 6th May nearly 445K people have already returned to India.

Hardeep Singh Puri also wrote on Twitter, “We began VBM to bring back about 190K stranded citizens. But when numbers grew manifold we ramped up the mission. Since 6th May, nearly 445K people have returned on VBM (170K) & chartered flights including foreign charters (275K). More are expected to return in Phase-4.”

5 Natural wonders to see when honeymooning in Hawaii

Reliably, thousands of people head to the islands of Hawaii on Honeymoon

Just thinking about the vast beaches and luxury resorts are enough to melt away wedding stress. Be that as it may, the individuals who make a trip right to Hawaii just to spread on the sands of Waikiki are passing up probably the most sensational landscape in the United States. If you’re honeymooning in Hawaii, add these six awe-inspiring sites across the Hawaiian Islands to your itinerary.

1. Hanauma Bay, Oahu

Found on the southeastern tip of the island of O’ahu, around 20 kilometers from the state’s capital city, Honolulu, Hanauma Bay is all that remaining parts of a once-amazing volcanic pit. Today, this vast bay is a famous swimming spot. Tie on a veil, snatch a waterproof camera, and take some selfies with angelfish, yellow tangs, and Humuhumunukunukuapuaa, the state fish of Hawaii.

2. Na Pali Coast, Kauai

Stretching across more than 27 kilometers of Kauai’s northern shore, the Na Pali Coast is the island’s most crucial juncture with the ocean. The occasional waterfall adds to the already dazzling beauty of these jagged green cliffs. You can experience the Na Pali Coast from the Kalalau Trail, but this hike isn’t for the faint of heart. You can also see the coast by boat or enjoy views on the cliffs from the eastern end of Route 560, about 17 kilometers west of the resort town of Princeville.

3. Waimoku Falls, Maui

The short climb to Waimoku Falls — situated in the southeastern piece of Maui’s Haleakala National Park — is an advantageous temporary re-route along the island’s acclaimed Road to Hana Drive. Finish the Pipiwai Trail a few bamboo forests, and you’ll wind up gazing up at the 122-meter-high falls. Here, water tumbles down over volcanic precipices into a little pool of water, where you and your new companion can chill.

4. Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, Big Island

This vacation problem area was framed more than a massive number of years by volcanic movement — which you can see direct Hawaii Volcanoes National Park on the southern bank of the Big Island. This island chain was shaped a great many years back from volcanic movement, and the Kilauea fountain of liquid magma keeps on including layers. Nothing will warm up your special night, like seeing magma streaming into the Pacific.

5. Molokini, Maui

A less red hot perspective on Hawaii’s volcanic history can be found at Molokini, a half-moon-molded islet found around 4 kilometers off the southwest bank of Maui — making it a simple day trip from Maui’s hotels. Molokini is all the remaining parts of a brutal volcanic ejection that shook the Pacific around 230,000 years back. Today, the atoll (and the 31 hectares of seafloor encompassing it) draws swimmers and scuba jumpers, just as boaters searching for a grand spot to make a stop.

Kailash Mansarovar Yatra – Why Take A Tour Once In a Lifetime

Love to explore the divine holy places?

Then this tour is the one you must not miss. Mount Kailash is known to be the abode of Lord Shiva and is 22,000 feet tall. The peak of the Kailash range, Mount Kailash comes under the part of Tibet – Transhimalaya. Yatra to such a divine place is accomplished only by a few thousand pilgrims every year through the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra.

Kailash Mansarovar Yatra

This yatra will take you through mainly two objectives. One is to carry out the Parikrama of Mount Kailash and the other is a dip in the holy Mansarovar Lake. The trip is purposed to make the pilgrims achieve salvation, and relive the sins committed by them. This yatra is usually undertaken by people age 18 to 70. It can be completed either through voyage by deluxe buses, land cruisers, helicopters or foot. For booking the trip one can visit the Ministry of External Affairs or by a private agency, or tour operator of Tibet. The Ministry of External Affairs conducts a separate selection process for the yatra.

The Parikrama of the Mount Kailash

The next difficult task the pilgrims undertake after reaching the Mount Kailash have to circumambulate the peak. This circumambulation is known as the Parikrama. It can be either in a clockwise direction or an anti-clockwise direction. The elderly people who cannot perform the parikrama on foot are given the option of hiring a yak or pony. This entire course of Parikrma usually takes 3 days to complete.

The Mythological Significance of Yatra

Mount Kailash is considered to be a sacred place generally by the Hindus, Bon, Jains, and Buddhists. Hindus believe that Lord Shiva along with his wife Goddess Parvati lives at Mount Kailash in a meditation state. Jains believe that the first Jain Tirthankara attained Nirvana on the Mount Kailash. Buddhists believe that Lord Buddha resides at Mount Kailash. The entire area of Mount Kailash is considered as auspicious, divine, and full of spiritual power by the Bons. Thus Mount Kailash has different mythological significance for different religions.

The Mansarovar Lake Significance

This auspicious lake is situated at the foot of Mount Kailash and is the highest freshwater lake over the world. It is an important part of the Yatra and is the holiest lake in Asia. It is believed by people and pilgrims that this lake changes colors. Near the shores, the color is clear blue while at the center it is emerald green. Moonlight adds up to the beauty of this auspicious lake.

Other attractive destinations besides the lake are Tirthapuri which is an interesting place for the pilgrims where they can bathe in spring pools, the Gauri Kund- which is also known as the Lake of Compassion.

Thus undertaking this adventurous, spiritual Kailash Mansarovar Yatra is a must and more than just one visit.
