Day by day
Day 1: Istanbul – Arrival Day
Upon our arrival at Istanbul International Airport, your guide will meet, assist and transfer you to the
hotel. The rest of the day is yours to explore the city on your own.
In the evening, Pick up from your hotel for Indian Dinner at the Restaurant. After the dinner, transfer
back to your hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 2: Istanbul City Tour
After breakfast, we have Istanbul City Tour. Our first visit will be HIPPODROME. Ancient Hippodrome
was the scene of chariot races, with the three monuments; the Obelisk of Theodosius, the bronze
Serpentine Column and the Column of Constantine. Than we will visit SULTANAHMET IMPERIAL
MOSQUE. Across from Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque, it was built in the 16th century by the architect
Mehmet, is known as the BLUE MOSQUE because of its magnificent interior decoration of blue Iznik
tiles. Lunch break at 13:00 pm. After the lunch, we will take you to the MARKET which is a unique
atmosphere with reasonable prices for your shopping. Here you will find; Exotic Spices and Herbs,
Turkish Baklava, Turkish Delights, Turkish Coffee, nuts and fruits, small souvenirs such as Ceramic
Handicrafts, Evil Eyes totems, all naturel olive oil, soaps and many other goods in Souvenir Shops
and stores. After the tour, transfer back to your hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.
Please Note: Please do not forget to carry headscarf with you for the visit of religious places
as Blue Mosque & Haghia Sophia Mosque

Day 3: Istanbul Bosphorus Cruise Tour
After breakfast enjoy BOSPORUS BY BOAT; a traditional excursion by boat along the waterway
separating Europe and Asia. The shore lined with old wooden villas, palaces of marble, fortresses,
and small fishing villages. During the excursion, you will see the magnificent sights of the following
attractions from your boat. See Dolmabahce Palace, and further along, the parks and imperial
pavilions of Yildiz Palace. On the coastal edge of this park, is Ciragan Palace, 300 meters of its
marble facade faces the shore. At Ortakoy a great variety of artists, gather every sunday to display
their work along the street. Ortakoy is a symbol of tolerance with a church, a mosque and a
synagogue existing side by side for centuries. RUMELI FORTRESS (view from boat), Built by
Mehmet the Conqueror in 1452 prior to the conquest of Istanbul was completed in only four months to
control and protect the infamous Bosporus passage. It is one of the most beautiful works of military
architecture anywhere in the world. BEYLERBEYI PALACE (view from boat), is the summer
residence of Ottoman sultans exists in its original renovated glory featuring original antique furniture
and magnificent gardens with the Harem on the Asian side of Istanbul. Lunch break at the Turkish
restaurant. After the lunch we will then take you to the SPICE BAZAAR (EGYPTIAN BAZAAR),
which is a unique atmosphere with reasonable prices for your shopping. Here you will find; Exotic
Spices and Herbs, Turkish Baklava, Turkish Delights, Turkish Coffee, nuts and fruits, small souvenirs
such as Ceramic Handicrafts, Evil Eyes totems, all naturel olive oil, soaps and many other goods in
Souvenir Shops and stores. After the tour transfer back to your hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 4: Istanbul to Ankara by Road
After breakfast at the hotel, today we will depart for Ankara by road. The road will take
approximately 5 – 6 hrs. Once you reach, transfer to your hotel. The day is yours at leisure. Evening
enjoy Local Dinner. Overnight in Ankara.

Day 5: Ankara City Tour to Cappadocia
08:00 Am Departure from Ankara to Cappadocia
We depart at 08:00 am. for Ankara City Tour. We will visit Ataturk Museum at the Ataturk
Mausoleum. (Ataturk is the founder of the modern Turkey). Free time for shopping. Later transfer
to Salt Lake enroute enjoy Local Lunch. Salt Lake, which it is a natural salt lake and the second
biggest lake in Turkey. After short a break we continue to drive to Cappadocia. Once we reach,
you will have Indian Dinner at the restaurant. After the dinner transfer to your hotel. Overnight in
Cappadocia.

Day 6: Cappadocia Tour with Underground City and Goreme Open Air Museum
Pick-up from hotel at 09: 30 am. In the morning, first met with the lunar landscape of Cappadocia:
rock formations beyond belief in Devrent Valley. Visit to Pasabag's “ fairy chimneys ” where the
voice of wind mixes with the “ songs of fairies” near Zelve. Lunch at Indian Restaurant. Visit
Avanos, the center of terra cotta works of art since 3000 BC., and a demonstration in a traditional
pottery workshop. Afternoon, visit the famous Göreme Open Air Museum and see the best examples
of Byzantine art in Cappadocia in rock – cut churches with frescoes and paintings (10th to 13th
century). Continue to panoramic view point Esentepe. With a spectacular view over Goreme, see
the complete view of Goreme valley and Goreme village: fairy chimneys, rock formations and cave
houses. Then visit Uchisar Castle. This tall rock, the highest point of the Goreme region. After that,
end your day with Underground City. Transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Cappadocia. This tour will
end approximately 18:00 and you will be returned back to your hotel. Dinner at Indian Restaurant
and Overnight in Cappadocia.

Day 7: Cappadocia to Istanbul
After breakfast at the hotel today we will depart for Istanbul Airport for your domestic flight to
Cappadocia. Once you reach you will have Indian Lunch at the restaurant. After than transferred to
your hotel and check in. After get some rest, we will pick you up from your hotel for Dinner. After
dinner transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 8: Istanbul - End of Tour
After the breakfast at the hotel, today we depart to Istanbul Airport for your International flight

Need to know
- Meals on arrival and departure days depend on flight times. If your flight lands early in the morning or leaves late in the evening, Akshar Travels will arrange the meals for that day.
- If a sight is closed on the day it is scheduled, we will replace it with a comparable sight on the same tour.
- Hotel check-in is usually 3:00 pm and check-out is usually 12:00 noon. Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may carry a charge.
- Baggage on domestic and internal flights follows the airline's own policy and weight limits, which are often lower than on your international flight. Please pack to the lowest allowance on your tour. Excess baggage fees are charged by the airline and paid by the guest.
