Day by day

Day 1: Welcome to Vancouver

Sights: Vancouver

Welcome to Vancouver, the gateway to your Canadian Rockies adventure. Arrive at Vancouver International Airport before 4:00 PM and proceed with the scheduled group transfer to your hotel. After check-in, take some time to relax and settle in. In the evening, meet your Tour Director for a welcome briefing and introduction to the journey ahead. Later, enjoy dinner at an Indian restaurant before returning to the hotel for your overnight stay.

Day 2: Whistler, Shannon Falls & Capilano Suspension Bridge

Sights: Shannon Falls, Whistler Village, Peak 2 Peak Gondola, Capilano Suspension Bridge, Treetops Adventure, Cliff Walk

After breakfast, depart Vancouver and travel along the scenic route toward Whistler. Stop at Shannon Falls, a spectacular 481-metre waterfall, before continuing to Whistler, a renowned alpine village set beneath the Blackcomb Mountains.

Enjoy free time to explore Whistler Village at your own pace before boarding the famous Peak 2 Peak Gondola. The gondola offers panoramic views of glaciers, extinct volcanoes and snow-capped mountain ranges.

Later, return toward Vancouver and visit Capilano Suspension Bridge Park. Experience the iconic 137-metre-long suspension bridge, walk through the forest canopy on the Treetops Adventure, and enjoy the dramatic Cliff Walk overlooking the canyon. Return to Vancouver in the evening for dinner at an Indian restaurant.

Day 3: Vancouver City Tour & Sun Peaks

Sights: Flyover Canada, Stanley Park, Gastown, Steam Clock, Sun Peaks Resort

Begin your day with breakfast before visiting Flyover Canada, an immersive virtual flight experience showcasing some of the country’s most spectacular landscapes. Please note that children must be at least 102 cm or 40 inches tall to participate.

Continue with a guided sightseeing tour of Vancouver featuring major landmarks such as Stanley Park, historic Gastown and the famous Steam Clock. After the city tour, enjoy lunch at your own expense before departing Vancouver.

Travel inland toward Sun Peaks Resort, located in the traditional territory of the Secwepemc people. Arrive at this scenic mountain resort, enjoy dinner at an Indian restaurant and settle in for your overnight stay.

Day 4: Sun Peaks to Jasper

Sun Peaks, Jasper, Hinton

Sights: Mt. Robson, Yellowhead Highway, Thompson River, Monashee Mountains, Jasper

After breakfast, check out and begin your scenic journey toward Jasper. Today’s drive takes you through some of Western Canada’s most impressive natural scenery and across a new time zone.

Along the way, admire Mount Robson, the tallest peak in the Canadian Rockies. Continue along the scenic Yellowhead Highway, travelling beside the Thompson River and enjoying views of the surrounding Monashee Mountains.

On arrival in Jasper, enjoy free time to explore the town at your own pace. Later, continue to Hinton for dinner at a local Indian restaurant and your overnight stay.

Day 5: Columbia Icefield & Glacier Skywalk

Jasper, Columbia Icefield, Banff, Canmore

Sights: Athabasca Falls, Icefields Parkway, Columbia Icefield, Athabasca Glacier, Glacier Skywalk, Banff

After breakfast, begin a full-day journey along the spectacular Icefields Parkway, one of the most scenic mountain highways in North America.

Make a photo stop at Athabasca Falls before continuing to the Glacier Discovery Centre. Board the specially designed Ice Explorer and travel onto the ancient Athabasca Glacier, where you will have the opportunity to step onto the glacier itself.

Continue to the dramatic Glacier Skywalk, a glass-floored observation platform suspended high above the Sunwapta Valley. Enjoy breathtaking views of glaciers, rugged peaks and deep valleys.

Later, continue to Banff and enjoy some free time to explore the town before dinner at an Indian restaurant. Proceed to Canmore for your overnight stay.

Day 6: Lake Louise & Yoho National Park

Sights: Lake Louise, Lake Minnewanka, Emerald Lake, Natural Bridge, Yoho National Park

After breakfast, travel into the heart of the Canadian Rockies and visit world-famous Lake Louise, known for its turquoise glacier-fed waters surrounded by dramatic mountain peaks.

Continue to Lake Minnewanka for scenic views and photo opportunities before exploring Yoho National Park, renowned for towering rock walls, waterfalls and mountain peaks.

Spend time at beautiful Emerald Lake, where the striking green waters reflect the surrounding mountains. Later, visit Natural Bridge, where the powerful Kicking Horse River has carved a natural stone formation through the rock.

Return to the Banff/Canmore area in the evening for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 7: Banff Gondola & Calgary Highlights

Sights: Banff Gondola, Sulphur Mountain, Lake Minnewanka, Calgary City Tour

fter breakfast, continue exploring the Banff region. Ride the Banff Gondola to the summit of Sulphur Mountain and enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding mountain ranges and Bow Valley.

Stop at Lake Minnewanka for additional scenic views before departing the Rockies and travelling to Calgary.

Upon arrival, enjoy an orientation tour of Calgary, passing major city landmarks and attractions. Later, enjoy dinner at an Indian restaurant before checking into your hotel

Day 8: Departure from Calgary

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and prepare for your onward journey. Transfer to Calgary International Airport using the hotel shuttle service. If the hotel shuttle is unavailable, guests will need to arrange a taxi at their own expense.
