Day 1: Arrival in Mexico City

Arrive at Mexico City International Airport. Meet and greet followed by transfer to your hotel. Check-in and relax after your journey.

Day 2: Mexico City Tour & Anthropology Museum

Breakfast at the hotel.
Today enjoy a panoramic city tour of Mexico City’s Historic Center. Visit the famous Zócalo, one of the largest city squares in the world. Admire the Metropolitan Cathedral and the National Palace (external view; entry subject to government schedule). Walk along Madero Street and see the beautiful Casa de los Azulejos (House of Tiles). Continue to the stunning Palacio de Bellas Artes.
In the afternoon, visit the National Museum of Anthropology, one of the most important museums in the world showcasing Mexico’s rich indigenous history.
Return to the hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 3: Basilica of Guadalupe & Teotihuacan

Visit the Basilica of Guadalupe, one of the most significant pilgrimage sites in the Catholic world. Explore both the New and Old Basilicas and see the sacred mantle of Juan Diego.
Continue to Teotihuacan, known as the “City of the Gods,” located approximately 50 km from Mexico City. Explore the magnificent Pyramids of the Sun and Moon and learn about one of the largest ancient cities of Mesoamerica.
Return to hotel. Overnight stay.

Need to know
- Meals on arrival and departure days depend on flight times. If your flight lands early in the morning or leaves late in the evening, Akshar Travels will arrange the meals for that day.
- If a sight is closed on the day it is scheduled, we will replace it with a comparable sight on the same tour.
- Hotel check-in is usually 3:00 pm and check-out is usually 12:00 noon. Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may carry a charge.
- Baggage on domestic and internal flights follows the airline's own policy and weight limits, which are often lower than on your international flight. Please pack to the lowest allowance on your tour. Excess baggage fees are charged by the airline and paid by the guest.
