Day 1: Welcome to Kenya – Arrival in Nairobi

Welcome to Kenya! Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, meet the Akshar Travels representative and transfer to your hotel in Nairobi.

Day 2: Nairobi to Aberdare National Park
Nairobi – Aberdares
After breakfast, travel toward the beautiful Aberdare region, known for its mountain scenery, dense forests and diverse wildlife.
Arrive at your lodge and enjoy the surrounding natural environment. Depending on the confirmed accommodation and operating schedule, guests may observe wildlife near the lodge’s waterhole or enjoy leisure time within the property.

Day 3: Thomson’s Falls and Lake Nakuru Rhino Sanctuary
Aberdares – Thomson’s Falls – Lake Nakuru
Depart the Aberdare region and visit the magnificent Thomson’s Falls, where water descends dramatically into a scenic gorge.
Continue to Lake Nakuru National Park, renowned for its birdlife and protected rhinoceros population. Enjoy a game drive through the park and look for white and black rhinos, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, antelopes and other wildlife.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara – Afternoon Safari
Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, travel to the legendary Masai Mara National Reserve. Famous for its vast grasslands and exceptional wildlife, the reserve offers one of Africa’s most memorable safari experiences.
After arriving and checking in at your safari lodge or camp, embark on a game drive. Look for lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, cheetahs and numerous other species.

Day 5: Masai Mara Game Drive and Maasai Village
Masai Mara National Reserve
Spend an unforgettable day exploring the Masai Mara on guided safari game drives. Search for Africa’s famous Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, rhinoceros and buffalo—along with cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes and antelopes.
Visit a traditional Maasai village to learn about the community’s customs, lifestyle, traditional homes and cultural heritage. Return to your lodge after a memorable day in the Kenyan wilderness.

Day 6: Masai Mara to Lake Naivasha
Masai Mara – Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, depart Masai Mara and travel toward Lake Naivasha, a beautiful freshwater lake in Kenya’s Great Rift Valley.
Arrive at the hotel and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The region is known for its abundant birdlife, acacia woodlands and sightings of hippos near the lake.

Day 7: Hell’s Gate, Ol Njorowa Gorge and Lake Naivasha Boat Ride
Lake Naivasha – Hell’s Gate National Park – Crescent Island
Visit Hell’s Gate National Park, celebrated for its towering cliffs, volcanic scenery and dramatic landscapes. See the Ol Njorowa Gorge area and learn about the geological features of the Great Rift Valley. Access is subject to park and safety conditions.
Later, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Naivasha, with opportunities to observe hippos and waterbirds. Continue to Crescent Island for a guided nature walk among freely roaming giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and antelopes.
