Day by day
Day 1: Arrival in Lima (Peru)

Arrival at Lima International Airport. Meet & greet followed by private transfer to your hotel in Miraflores.
Lima, known as the “City of Kings,” blends colonial elegance with pre-Inca heritage and modern coastal charm. Rest of the day at leisure to relax after your international flight.

Day 2: Lima City Tour

Begin your guided tour of Lima starting at Love Park in Miraflores overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Continue with panoramic views of Huaca Pucllana pyramid and the San Isidro district.
Visit the Historic Center including Plaza Mayor, Government Palace, Cathedral (where Francisco Pizarro is buried), and the Monastery of Santo Domingo.
Conclude with a visit to the Larco Museum, showcasing Peru’s ancient civilizations in an 18th-century mansion.
Return to hotel.

Day 3: Lima – Cusco

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to airport for flight to Cusco (flight not included).
Upon arrival (3,400 meters above sea level), transfer to hotel for acclimatization.
In the afternoon, visit Sacsayhuaman Fortress with its massive stone walls, Kenko ceremonial center, Tambomachay water temple, and Puka Pukara. Continue to Coricancha Temple (Temple of the Sun).
Return to hotel.

Day 4: Machu Picchu Excursion

Early breakfast. Transfer to train station for scenic train journey to Aguas Calientes.
Board shuttle bus up to Machu Picchu, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.
Guided tour through terraces, temples, and ceremonial plazas. Enjoy breathtaking mountain views.
After exploration, descend and enjoy buffet lunch at a local restaurant.
Return by train to Cusco.

Travel by tourist bus through the Andean highlands to Puno.

Visit Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world. Explore the Uros Floating Islands built from reeds and learn about the Aymara culture.

Need to know
- Meals on arrival and departure days depend on flight times. If your flight lands early in the morning or leaves late in the evening, Akshar Travels will arrange the meals for that day.
- If a sight is closed on the day it is scheduled, we will replace it with a comparable sight on the same tour.
- Hotel check-in is usually 3:00 pm and check-out is usually 12:00 noon. Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may carry a charge.
- Baggage on domestic and internal flights follows the airline's own policy and weight limits, which are often lower than on your international flight. Please pack to the lowest allowance on your tour. Excess baggage fees are charged by the airline and paid by the guest.
