Day by day
Day 1: Arrive in Lima
Welcome to Peru! Upon arrival at Lima Airport, meet your guide and transfer to your hotel. Check in and relax after your journey.

Day 2: Lima City Tour & UNESCO Heritage Sites
After breakfast, enjoy a guided tour of Lima’s Historic Center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the Convent of Santo Domingo, home to a historic library and the resting place of Peru’s saints. Explore Plaza Mayor with the Government Palace and City Hall, then step inside the Lima Cathedral, filled with colonial-era art and history. Return to your hotel for the evening.

Day 3: Fly to Cusco & Inca Ruins Tour
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Cusco. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and rest.
In the afternoon, explore the Inca ruins around Cusco – the mighty Sacsayhuaman Fortress, the spiritual Qenqo Shrine, the watchtower of Puca Pucara, and the sacred water temple Tambomachay. Enjoy panoramic views of Cusco before returning to your hotel.

Day 4: Machu Picchu Full-Day Tour
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the train station for a scenic journey to Aguas Calientes. From there, take a short bus ride up to the iconic Machu Picchu. Explore this legendary Inca citadel with your guide, learning about its temples, fountains, and history. After lunch, return by train to Cusco and transfer to your hotel.

Day 5: Sacred Valley Tour
Discover the beauty of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Visit Chinchero Village for a weaving demonstration and its archaeological site. Continue to Moray, a unique Inca agricultural laboratory with circular terraces. After lunch, explore Ollantaytambo Fortress with its temples, baths, and breathtaking views. Stay overnight in the Sacred Valley.

Day 6: Departure from Cusco
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Cusco Airport for your flight home or onward journey.

Need to know
- Meals on arrival and departure days depend on flight times. If your flight lands early in the morning or leaves late in the evening, Akshar Travels will arrange the meals for that day
- If a sight is closed on the day it is scheduled, we will replace it with a comparable sight on the same tour
- Hotel check-in is usually 3:00 pm and check-out is usually 12:00 noon. Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may carry a charge
- Baggage on domestic and internal flights follows the airline's own policy and weight limits, which are often lower than on your international flight. Please pack to the lowest allowance on your tour. Excess baggage fees are charged by the airline and paid by the guest

- This program is valid for travel between 01 January – 15 December 2025.
- Pricing & Payment
- All prices are per person, based on twin sharing.
- Rates are subject to change without prior notice until booking is confirmed.
- A deposit of 30% of the total package cost is required to confirm the booking.
- Full payment must be made 45 days prior to departure.
- Inclusions & Exclusions
- Package includes only those services mentioned under Inclusions.
- Any services not specified are considered excluded and will incur additional charges.
- Flights & Transportation
- Domestic flights (Lima–Cusco–Lima) are not included unless specified in the final booking confirmation.
- Train class to Machu Picchu is as per selected package (Expedition or Vistadome).
- Accommodation
- Hotels will be confirmed at the time of booking. In case of unavailability, a similar category will be offered.
- Cancellation Policy
- More than 60 days before departure: 10% of package cost.
- 59–31 days before departure: 25% of package cost.
- 30–15 days before departure: 50% of package cost.
- Less than 14 days before departure or no-show: 100% of package cost.
- Passports & Visas
- Travelers must hold valid passports with a minimum validity of 6 months beyond travel dates.
- Visa requirements for Peru are the responsibility of the traveler.
- Travel Insurance
- Comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and baggage is strongly recommended.
- Health & Fitness
- This tour includes high-altitude destinations (up to 3,400m). Travelers should consult a doctor prior to booking.
- Responsibility
- The company is not liable for delays, cancellations, or changes due to weather, strikes, or circumstances beyond its control.
- Unused services are non-refundable.
